Social Skills Groups focus on developing appropriate interpersonal and intrapersonal interactions. We work with children and adolescents and groupings are made according to age, need, and compatibility. Group content is tailored to the needs of the individuals within the group. No two groups are ever the same as the dynamic of the group shapes the curriculum. Group themes are quite diverse and range from greetings, to making friends, to anger management. Groups meet on and off site for maximum social development. Deep connections made between children working together within a group greatly enhance self esteem and future social development.
